MetroBrokersTV: Welcome to Metro Brokers TV and we are here today with Amy Chase and Amy, welcome. Amy is with Metro Brokers, Cherry Tree Properties
Amy Chase: Thank you.
MetroBrokersTV: Amy, I wanted to interview you. Your managing broker suggested that we talk with you because you are one of the people that is producing and I like to remind our viewers that the average agent in the Metro Denver last year did less than three transactions. So, you are to be commended for your production levels. There are other people in the industry that think that people like you are "stay-at-home mom" aren't going to make it in the business. So, I am just curious what you are doing and how you are being successful in this industry today.
Amy Chase: Well, I have a wonderful personal sphere that I work with. I am very connected in my kids schools, former coworkers that I used to work with in some of the hospitals I worked with, my neighbors, just personal contacts and I really... I stay in touch with my people.
MetroBrokersTV: So, what about some fundamentals? Do you do newsletters, quarterly mailings, things like that?
Amy Chase: I do. I actually do a quarterly newsletter that is chock-full of relevant information for home owners, buyers, sellers, home maintenance type information that I think is relevant and helpful. So, I send those out quarterly and then I just do some fun kind of marketing pieces. I send Broncos schedules every fall, Rockies schedules every spring and then if I have a unique situation or a sale that I am real proud of I will send out a postcard to that specific neighborhood where the sale has occurred talking about why it was unique, why it was special, and why I thought it was just a great opportunity.
MetroBrokersTV: You actually have a list of all your people in a computer database that you are able to actually get a list and mail stuff to people.
Amy Chase: I do.
MetroBrokersTV: So, how many people do you have on your contact list and what is your sphere list?
Amy Chase: My sphere list is probably right around 250 people and then I do a...
MetroBrokersTV: Good number.
Amy Chase: Small farm to my personal neighborhood.
MetroBrokersTV: What about social events? Are you big on social events?
Amy Chase: I am. I love to entertain in my home and so we have lots of dinner parties, cocktail parties, holiday parties, summer kickoff parties, and I also do succumb to the typical mom stuff, theSilpada, the home clothing, jewelry, all the fun parties like that and I invite my clients to those as well and most of them come.
MetroBrokersTV: So, that's the real magic to doing more than three transactions a year.
Amy Chase: Absolutely and I would say that most of my clients become personal friends and we stay in contact just personally, just emails back and forth, checking phone calls just to see what is going on with them personally, professionally, if I can be of service to them in any way. So, we really do develop those personal one-on-one relationships long term.
MetroBrokersTV: Appreciate you talking today. You are absolute proof positive that there is still some I think really high quality professional individuals.
Amy Chase: Thank you.
MetroBrokersTV: Using the right fundamentals even in this industry today and you are surviving and doing very well.
Amy Chase: And loving it.
MetroBrokersTV: All right. Well, thank you very much.
Amy Chase: Thanks Mark. Good to see you
