Brian Richardson pleased with Metro Brokers technology focus

MetroBrokersTV: Hey and we are outside the general session here at Inman Real Estate Connect in San Francisco 2008 and I am with Brian Richardson and Brian is with Metro Brokers Real Estate Company out of Denver, Colorado and Brian I understand this is your first year here.

Brian Richardson: Yes, it is. We saw... first time I've had an opportunity to come to the event and it is great.

MetroBrokersTV: So, anything you picked up or learned or are there some things you are going to do differently or you think you are on track?

Brian Richardson: You know the good thing about this is we had opportunity to meet new vendors for some of the things that we want to work with as far as web and video, but the great part about it is that we have actually been able to realize that we, Metro Brokers, are doing the right things in Denver, Colorado.

MetroBrokersTV: So, what type of things do you consider that you are doing right. I mean what has caught your attention or peaked your attention here?

Brian Richardson: A lot of it is the web, communicating through the web and how the web is the new way to communicate with your clients and how to actually work with the web to... with drip systems, your initial contact with them, going through search engines and right now currently the things that we are working with in Denver are the things they are suggesting here to do.

MetroBrokersTV: Yeah, you sit on their technology committee. Is that correct?

Brian Richardson: Yes.

MetroBrokersTV: And you have been with Metro Brokers just over a year now?

Brian Richardson: Yep. Yeah.

MetroBrokersTV: So pretty happy that we've got a lot of our membership represented out here in San Francisco.

Brian Richardson: Yeah, I am impressed how many different owners of Metro Brokers offices are out here currently and you know it is good that Metro Brokers is doing everything they can do to keep themselves up on technology. Most of the things that we are going to need to know in the future and it is going to help us attract more agents to Metro Brokers because of what we are doing.
